2000 Volkswagen Eurovan Camper

Price: $38,900

We picked up this 2000 Eurovan Camper a couple of months ago and worked on it in between building vans for clients of ours. We search long and hard before buying any van. We always look for vehicles with relatively low miles, and vehicles that are as near to perfect cosmetically inside and out as possible. Nothing beats a van that is still in excellent original condition. As seems to almost always be the case, the van was supposedly absolutely perfect and needed nothing. We hear this all the time and always expect to do lots of work to every van that we buy and go through. I guess we just have higher standards than most.

--Tune up: includes replace fuel filter, cabin air filter, clean intake system, replace spark plugs and replace spark plug wires. (genuine VW plug wires)
--Completely flush or change every fluid in the vehicle
--Upgraded transmission cooler kit with thermostat
--1100 watt power inverter
--Keyless entry system
--Wire stereo to auxiliary battery instead of the main battery
--Replace all vent covers on driver%u2019s side of the van. (They are plastic and are always in poor condition)
--Pop-top lift struts
--Stove and sink lid lift struts
--New auxiliary battery (Interstate)
--New main battery (Interstate)
--Exhaust buffer pad replaced
--Tie rod ends replaced and vehicle aligned
--Water pump with metal impeller (The originals were plastic)
--Serpentine belt
--Serpentine belt tensioner
--Heater hose with bleeder valve for cooling system (The valve is plastic and always breaks, possibly leaving you stranded)
--New front brakes and rotors
--New rear brakes and rotors
--New windshield
--All wiper blades
--New ignition switch (They commonly fail)
--Rear was faucet
--Pump for sink (They commonly go bad)
--Upgrade rear hatch sun shade and slider door sun shade
--Install sunshade on front windshield (These are great for helping to keep the vehicles interior cool)
--Remove fridge and service (We rarely buy a van where the fridge actually works off of propane)
--We usually put new tires on vehicles that we build but it already had near new Michelins so no need
--It also came already lifted and fitted with Bilstein shocks
